Massachusetts Lawmakers Sneak Vote to Delay Marijuana Shops
Massachusetts lawmakers proved they are against the people by sneaking in a vote to delay marijuana shops from opening for 6 months. It would have taken one vote to keep this from happening but they did this secretly during the holidays, when most people are traveling and not thinking about politics.
Boston Magazine pointed this out perfectly:
They did this when the Legislature is not in session, so a single dissenting vote would have stopped it from happening. But there wasn’t a dissenting vote, so the bill passed the House and Senate and ended up on Gov. Charlie Baker’s desk. He signed it into law on Friday.
And politicians wonder why the American people hate their guts. They prove time and time again that they think they know better than the people when in reality we pay their salaries!
